It was a cold day today. Ha, met up with Juncai, Alvin and Xueping for KTV at Clementi. Known JC for the 12th year now, and we sang like madmen in the room this afternoon. Just like all the nonsense we always had since our days at CSS. Sang many oldies, cos I just cannot reach the high notes... Ha, really glad to have a friend like him. Well dude, I'll be back in 5 months time, and very soon, graduating with the motar boards on our heads together!~

... Celebrity at Christchurch International Airport ...

Ha, finally settled my airport pickup request with UC's accommodations office. They booked a taxi to take us to our hall, and the driver will be waiting for Veron and I at the airport with a board with our names on it... Wahaha, I feel as if some superstar landing on Christchurch... Muhaha, hope that taxi really comes to pick us up that day... Keke....

... The Start of Pre-Departure ...

Last Saturday possibly marks the first of a series of pre-departure meetups with friends (Just don't really like term farewell meetups, not as if I'm not coming back anymore). Ha.

Met up with the dive group ah bangs and minahs for a steamboat dinner at Marina South. It's been quite some time since I last ate there, (last time being 41 SAR S3 Branch dinner). I must say the whole place seemed to be swarmed with kiddos. Gotta distinguish our status by ordering some beer to drink. Ha! I think probably it's weekends, that's why. Ha. Anyway, it wasa nice trip, laughter and stories contributed by our group's master diver, Eric. Ha. Jealous leh, clocked 60+ dives and going to Cairns for more. Ha. It's a beautiful world underwater, I should go down to meet Nemos soon. Ha.

Ok la, I'll stop here and I'll look forward to meeting more friends before I fly on the 19th of February. Below are some photos for the night's out.

This is a real bad day. Woke up at 3am with pain in the gastric region. Couldn't get to sleep at all. And the next thing, I was puking and having diarrhea, stuck in the smelly toilet for dunno how long. tmd. By the time I managed to fall asleep again at 4am, I think I'd already discharged fluid 4 times. Nearly Died.. Damn... POISONED, by food...

It must be that chai peng I ate the previous night. The one at Blk 323, Bukit Batok West. So, to those who are living near me, please don't ever, ever buy food from them... Well, I puked out a remnant of their sotong last night..

Enough, before you guys start vomitting too.. Ha...

Nothing much for the past few days. Ha. Busy liaising for CNY performances.. Head Big.. Hai...

Went for shopping... Got some more stuff... More on the way... Ha...

Ha!~ Been very lazy to come in to post, and it seems I've neglected this blog. But then again, it's supposed to be updating people on me when I at UC. But anyway, here I am, abit of my preparation to fly.

Hmmz, I've been rotting at home lately, too much in fact. Ha, but still lazy to post. Dun hit me!~ Wahaha... Anyway, I guess I'll be starting to tidy up my room and keeping away stuff, since I'll be away for 5 months.. Ha.. So more dust coming on my way...

SEP admin are more or less done. Permission to do mods are granted, visa done, air tics confirmed.. I'll be flying out on 19 Feb, back 11 July, and back for my In-Camp on 12 July. Best!~ 453 all the way... Shit!~ Also, bought a 1GB memory stick for my cam, portable HDD to store my photos.. The returning NZ SEP students have an avg of 7GB worth of photos for their stay there!~ Wah!~ Skype headset bought! Formatted and cleaned up laptop... Hee..

So what's on the list now? Hmmmz....

Ha. Actually also not latest la.. Just that I tot I haven't posted anything on it yet, so just put up some photos of the mod I did about a month back.. Yea, changed off the ah pek looking front grill to the sports mesh.. Quite fitting, and it makes the car look fiercer and more sporty.... Haha....

Anyway, these days had been busy and hectic. Juz submitted a report this morning. Another due on Wednesday. Next will be Design Project on 9 Nov and then term paper. This sem is hell. I have difficulty coping, and I feel drained.

Ha, it's been a long time since I last posted an entry... So here it is, again... And since this blog is partly for my SEP trip, let's start the ball rolling...

Just received the admission offer from Registrar's Office on Friday. So that means, Canterbury (UC) has accepted my applications... Sounds gd? Nah.. still more to be done...

What's up next?

2 important things to be confirmed before I can put my heart at ease for my SEP trip.. One is my accomodations for confirmation. Hope that doesn't take long. Two, is my modules. Just sent in an email to UC to check out if I meet the pre-requisites to take certain modules.. Those are year 4 modules under their system... Keeping my fingers crossed on that, cos I'm really working on very tight options regarding modules. Not much to choose from... Better to be shun4 shun4 li4 li4... Hehe...

And after that? Hee... It's visa applications timE!~

Let's see if I'll pull out my hair over SEP over the next few weeks!~ *Fingers Crossed*

Well, went to bugis area to research on my robot parts and my mkt... So I overshot the parking time allowed by the number of coupons to put... I should not feel so suay if I really get a summon, for overshooting 2 hrs... But read this:-

...Accommodations woes...

Ha, it's been some time... Of cos, partly bcos I'm bz... So well... Hee...

But anyway, just the other day, i realized that the deadline for campus accomms at Canterbury has closed!!! Oh my god, and tat's even earlier than it's closing date for 'prospective' exchange students to apply to Canterbury... Now where's the logic? Haiz...

So wat to do, still gotta put in my applications, though they said they'll still consider late applications, so long there are "leftover" rooms... Darn... Hopefully I get a place to stay at Canterbury, else I might need to sleep under the bridge... Haha...

But den again, I found out another accommodation format they have at NZ... Homestaying... So tat's basically bunking in wif 1 of the ang moh families.. Renting a room in their house... Hee.. May not be a bad idea.. Maybe I'll get a free tour guide too.... Ha!~
